The Naukluft National Park in the Namib Dessert is home to the highest Sand Dumes in the world. Sossusvlei is one of the most spectacular sights in Namibia...Best time to view them is sunrise and sunset, the changing colours are just amazing.... a photographers dream.

Still in the National Park, there is a small ancient lake called Dead Vlei..The lake dried up hundreds of years ago.

Many trees are still standing, and have not decayed due to the extreme dryness of the air. My Images show both the Sand Dunes and the trees in Dead Vlei.
