We spent 3 days in a hide (11 hours a day, not for the faint hearted) on an Island called Smola which juts out in the north sea. To reach the Island you have to go on a ferry.
Our objective was to photograph the White-Tailed Eagle.

Unfortunately it wasn't to be, we didn't get a single shot of them.We can only put it down the atrocious weather conditions.
We did however get a couple of shots of a juvenile shown here.
